Job Profile
The company is searching for a Welder Repair Technician who will troubleshoot and perform maintenance on welding systems and products distributed by the Company.
Perform work at the branch facility and customer sites as required.
Educational Level
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
Work Experience
- 2-3+ years of related technical experience
- Experience in electrical and gas-powered engines
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on power generation equipment
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
- Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment and accessories for rental and transfer shipments.
- Assists with parts and equipment inventories as needed.
- Diagnose, repair, test, and calibrate machines for rent or sale per daily schedule.
- From a company computer, create workshop orders with details of diagnosis, repairs, and parts required for each machine.
- Must be organized and have great communication skills
- Operate a forklift, pallet jack, or other necessary material handling equipment to perform shop duties.
- Required to service equipment and customers off-site as needed.
- Scan and process shipments per Company procedure.
