Work Experience

• Experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes

Duties/Responsibilities

• Certified Rigging
• Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging
• Proficient at Fitting/Layout
• Proficient at Print Reading
• Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch
• Understand Weld Symbols

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments.
• Assess equipment repair needs and develop repair processes.
• Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality.
• Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required.
• Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing).
• The primary focus is on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices consistently.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders, and welding machines.
• Work in a diverse team environment.
