Job Profile
The company is hiring a Welding Supervisor who will coordinate each welder on the assigned weld line to monitor the progress of the operations and ensure the safety of all workers.
Inspects the finished product to ensure it is built properly and safely.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Technical education courses, postsecondary institutions, such as vocational and technical institutes, community colleges, private welding, soldering, and brazing schools
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate welding team to fit project goals
- Ensure conformance to safety requirements
- Monitor project progress
- Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on priorities.
- Oversee welding team
- Train new and apprentice welders
- Troubleshoot welding equipment issues
- Verify the quality of welds
- Other responsibilities, as assigned
