Job Profile
The company is searching for an X-ray Tech NDT I who will work with the Material Control Lab and manufacturing personnel to investigate problems encountered through inspection and determine their effect on the part.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
- 3 years of experience in a quality/aerospace manufacturing environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience following quality procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Exhibit skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, conduct tests, interpret, and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results following procedures approved.
- Follow operating procedures and work instructions for NDT Inspectors.
- Maintain DRM systems following required Pratt Whitney specifications.
- Nondestructive Test Level 1S with responsibility for performing digital radiography.
- Organize and report test results.
- Visually inspect products and segregate nonconforming material.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Have a fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, and brazing, and the types of discontinuities associated with each.
- US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
