Job Profile
The company is looking for a Robotics Technician to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Technical Degree (college/university) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Experience
- Possess 3 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance or robotics technician in a production environment
- Experience as a Welder
- Experience in automotive manufacturing (a plus)
- Experience with welding robots
- Experienced in pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analysis of weak points or risks and initiation and implementation of appropriate remedial measures
- Ensures proper Robotic specific documentation delivery from the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
- Independent implementation of projects of various sizes with regard to conversion and repair work
- Monitoring and participation in the assembly and installation of new equipment and conversions of existing facilities
- Participates in cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to Robotic issues.
- Performs preventive maintenance activities as well as optimization of the production plant
- Plans and implements improvements related to the specific Robotic systems.
- Procurement and management of spare parts
- Provides technical support for resolving Robotic related issues.
- Provides technical support for Robotic systems during the introduction of new models.
- Responsibility for ensuring occupational safety and health protection in your area of activity
- Shared responsibility for the achievement of production targets (OEE)
- Supports Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications.
- Technical competence in the area of automation technology and plant engineering
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Knowledge in robotic welding, KUKA (strongly desired)
- Programming knowledge (Siemens Simatic TIA Portal V14 and upgraded versions)
- Relevant professional experience in the manufacturing industry (ideally automotive)
- SAP knowledge (creation of maintenance plans and spare parts requirements)
