Job Profile

The company is seeking a Production Operator III (Plasma) who will be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• The mechanical background would be helpful

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist as needed to set up equipment to support machinists, metal sprayers, and welders.
• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of aircraft engine parts in preparation for repair processes.
• Assist with proper packaging of aircraft parts for shipping using cardboard, bubble wrap, and protective containers to ensure no metal contact is made which could possibly cause damage to finished engine parts.
• Assist with receiving and shipping parts for internal system tracking.
• Load and deliver aircraft parts to appropriate work areas.
• Occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist in performance of work.
• Perform hand cleaning to include steam cleaning, acid etch, sanding, blending, brazing, and de-burring of aircraft engine parts to remove foreign elements from parts.
• Utilize chemical cleaning procedures.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to read, write and use work instruction sheets
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds
• Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds
• Minimum pull – 40 pounds
