Job Profile

The company is searching for a Machinist I who will be able to set up and operate standard manual machine tools such as Milling Machines (vertical and horizontal), engine lathes, surface grinders, and manual machines.

Note: applicants must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents as required per FAA requirements

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess 3 years of experience in a variety of methods and equipment
• 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, collaborative Machinist role

Duties/Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout machining procedures.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
• Read and understand blueprints, sketches, and descriptions of parts to be worked on or replaced.
• Set up and operate one or more of the following: CNC Grinders, CNC Milling Machines, CNC Lathe, or any other CNC metal-working machine where CNC control knowledge may be directly applied to CSD machine tools operation.
• Set up and run various machines in the machine shop such as grinders, CNC, VTL, etc.
• Verify dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
