Job Profile

The company is recruiting an Operations Surveillance Analyst who will serve as an Operations Surveillance Analyst supporting a specific Groton Operations discipline (Structural).

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree duly completed from a college/university

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Operations, Quality, or Engineering

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be responsible for various small projects to support the Discipline Steering Team’s goals and objectives.
• Help coordinate/facilitate surveillances for the assigned discipline’s Groton management team as well as help assess/evaluate the discipline’s level status of the Quality Roadmap.
• Provide project management, problem resolution, and facilitation experience as well as technical knowledge for the assigned discipline.
• Be required to spend 25-50% of their time on the deck plate supporting Managers and General Foreman (as needed).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing in-process surveillance
• Experience with process improvement initiatives
• Experience with structural welding processes
• Understanding of how Groton Operations schedules their work and/or prior Navy experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work independently and support newly developing programs
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Applicant must be a self-motivator with a strong awareness of procedural compliance and data integrity
• High attention to detail and ability to demonstrate previous experience in performing at a high-quality level
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written/verbal communication skills are required
