Job Profile

The company is hiring a Quality/Process Engineer who will design and develop manufacturing processes and systems improving quality, reducing cost, and increasing production output.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants require a Bachelor’s Degree from a college/university (Engineering preferred)

Work Experience

• Possess previous manufacturing experience (required)
• Project Management and CAD experience (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Design and implement sub-assemblies and fixtures to improve quality, and shorten product cycle times, and ergonomics.
• Develop, support, and maintain Brazing and Welding certification processes
• Evaluate and implement innovative, cost-effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems
• Leads effort with various functional team members collaborating to improve designs, processes, and equipment while enhancing design for manufacturability and customer-facing quality.
• Leverage customer feedback to improve processes with feedback into the design to track design improvements leveraging Braze Excellence standards.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership for the timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems. Serve as a resource for cause/effect analyses, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
• Support various areas with quality improvements and projects

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes
• Brazing or Welding knowledge/experience is preferred (training available)
• Knowledge and demonstrated ability to implement Lean Six Sigma processes
