Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Leadsman Block Machine Operator who will handle the demanding job that consists of pushing pulling and constantly lifting concrete blocks weighing an average of 50 lbs.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess forklift experience (highly preferred)
• Electrical, welding, and fabricating background (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability and willingness to learn how to execute each operational function as needed i.e., operator, cuber, forklift, etc.
• The ability to climb conveyors and vertical ladders are needed. Mechanical and repair knowledge is needed.
• Ability to maintain and enforce a safe working environment.
• Must be capable of operating a wheeled loader and forklift.
• Two-handed dexterity is needed for the use of tools and equipment.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to communicate both verbally and written and understand directions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. concrete blocks on a repetitive basis.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be capable of performing job duties such as bending, squatting, stooping, sweeping, and shoveling.

Work Conditions

• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
• Must wear protective equipment while at the location
