Job Profile

The company is looking for a Journeyman Metal Fabricator who will work closely with project management, they will be responsible for executing professional, quality fabrications and installations per all current designs and blueprints.

Able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Be growth-oriented, able to read blueprints, operate equipment (press breaks, shears, cutting tables, forklifts, etc.), able to test the functionality of components, and able to grind, weld and analyze notes in a database.

Will mentor two APs in the shop and out in the field at all times.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 5-10 years in the metal fabrication/welding trade or completion of an apprenticeship (4 years)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Completion of all installations per all current codes
• Installing pole signs, monument signs, and LED and neon channel letters
• Making judgment calls based on notes in the database for specific orders to determine the correct workflow
• Proficient with electrical components
• Reading blueprints, legend symbols, the scale of the plan, and diagrams
• Strong working knowledge of metal fabrication and welding

• Must be able to perform quality checks on completed projects throughout the life of the project.
• Must be able to read blueprints.

• Proficient with fluorescent, neon, and LED lighting applications
• Proficient with welding with steel and aluminum
