Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of paper board manufacturing equipment

The position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Military Training and or Technical School (required)
• Associates Degree or Certificates (preferred)

Work Experience

• Possess 2-3 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Corrugated or Converting Experience (preferred)
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced arc welding experience
• Masonry construction experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Change and check fuses, circuit breakers, overloads, etc.
• Fabricate basic machine parts
• Install starters and disconnects
• Make conduit runs and pull wires
• Troubleshoot machines
• Good cutting techniques, proficient with oxy/acetylene and plasma arc cutting.
• Skilled at rebuilding rotating equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, etc.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Basic knowledge of hydraulics
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems
• Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus)
