Job Profile
The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join its team for a progressive Industrial Manufacturing client.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
- Accredited certifications or licenses (preferred, but not necessary)
Work Experience
- Possess 2+ years of mechanical maintenance training
- High-volt and Low volt electrical experience
- currently licensed low/high-pressure boiler operator through the State of Michigan (preferred, but not necessary)
- Fabrication and welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Boiler blowdown, preventive maintenance, annual maintenance, conductivity testing
- Condensate and steam line plumbing repairs
- Equipment start-up and shutdowns
- Experience with boilers ranging in size from 60 hp, 150 hp, or greater, could seek terms for the boiler model such as Cleaver Brooks
- HVAC and Chiller
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of preventive maintenance
- PLC programming
- Standard toolset for the workplace
- Thermal Processing or Electro Plating experience Preferred – Boiler Operator experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to stand, kneel, and lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work weekday/weekend
