Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Screening Operator who will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful operation of screening lines on a variety of high and medium-voltage cable designs.

Oversee the process of the line to ensure proper SOP is being followed and no defective product makes it to the next operation.

• No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper setup, changeover, and overall operation of the stranding line.
• Responsible for verifying line components match shop paperwork outlined by the planning and engineering department.
• Responsible for completing necessary cage/line audits during each run.
• Leads, coaches and communicates information to the helper.
• Completing required paperwork and Advaris transactions at the start, during, and end of each run.
• Responsible for reporting all maintenance and quality issues to the supervisor.
• Partner with internal resources on process improvements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Report all incidents of Safety and Quality violations in support of a Culture of Zero.
• Responsible for maintaining general housekeeping

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to sit/stand/move for up to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to lead DHP/pass down meetings with rotating shifts.
• Ability to use and manipulate hand tools, including welding and crimping functions.
