Job Profile
The company is hiring a Welder to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants may require a High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Must have prior MIG welding experience
- Overhead crane and rigging experience (required)
- Saw and hand torch experience (required)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete the welding process by welding/tacking plate and structural steel
- Learn and perform basic fitting tasks
- Maintaining a clean work area and helping in other areas as needed
- Operate material handling equipment (lift truck or overhead crane)
- Straighten fabrications (press/heat)
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- CWB tickets and weld symbol knowledge (an asset)
- Excellent blueprint reading skills (required)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (required)
- Must be detail-oriented and safety conscious
- Possess technical knowledge of welding procedures/materials/equipment
