Job Profile

The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.

Requires knowledge in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and programming, planning, strong electrical skills, as well as knowledge of mechanical, welding, and fabrication, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations).

Must possess good communication skills and be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Qualification

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical Training or Certification in electrical, mechanical, or related fields.

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist senior maintenance technicians as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Fabricate and weld components as required.
• Follow established maintenance plans and schedules for equipment and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Order and manage spare parts and supplies for MRO.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues on production equipment and machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of mechanical, welding, and fabrication
• Knowledge of MRO
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Strong electrical skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Work Environment

• Ability to work overtime as necessary
• Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role
• Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push, and pull 40-pounds)
• Handle, control, and feel raw materials and finished goods
• Stand for 10-12 hours straight
• Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
