Job Profile
The company is searching for a Production Supervisor who will play a critical role on the Production team.
Lead a dynamic team of 20-30 Associates and Leads while managing operations and driving metrics in critical areas on the manufacturing floor.
Educational Level
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
Work Experience
- 3-5 years of managing a team in high volume manufacturing setting
- CNC Machining Experience strongly (preferred)
- Lean/Continuous Improvement experience (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Build a robust and motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets.
- Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process.
- Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
- Production Supervisors are responsible for various Environmental Health, and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams’ safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to improve operations continuously.
- Responsible for the oversight of 20-30 employees per shift.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs).
- Communicate using excellent written and verbal skills.
- Fluent with standard MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
