Job Profile

The company is searching for a Fuel/Lube Truck Assembler Technician who will assemble everything from in-stock, standard trucks to custom specialty vehicles designed to fit our customers’ unique needs and requirements.

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatic systems, electronics, and a strong mechanical aptitude are highly desired.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• 12-volt DC and 120-volt AC experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Installation of PTO systems in various chassis makes and models.
• Installation of hydraulic power units, fittings, and hoses, cranes.
• Installation of pneumatic systems including compressors, air tanks, regulators, dryers, and associated plumbing.
• Wire and install 12-volt truck lights and 12-volt and 120-volt work lights.
• Occasional troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and be able to hand draw corrections as needed.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work overtime.
• General knowledge of hydraulic hose manufacturing.
• General knowledge of hydraulics and lubrication reels and pumps.
• General knowledge of PTO drives.
• Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Welding and fabrication are a plus.
