The company is looking for a Production Supervisor to join its team.

Education Level

• BA/BS Degree preferred (business, engineering)

Work Experience

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
• SAP experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Appraising performance
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees
• Coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly daily
• Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly, and revised as necessary
• Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Rewarding and disciplining employees
• Support and improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
• Typically supervises 50-plus employees

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to deal effectively with conflict in a mature and consistent manner
• Ability to work well in group situations
• Good computer skills
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Work Environment

• Ensures safety and productivity
• May work night or weekend shifts
• Often a noisy and fast-paced environment
• Stands for long periods
• Works in factories or industrial sites
