Job Profile

The company is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic who will perform various duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical training/experience with 480 3-phase/machine controls
• Experience operating forklift equipment
• Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Performs electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance.
• Performs mechanical skills, including but not limited to, mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance and repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Safely operate and repair a forklift.
• Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

• Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.

• Work overtime as required.

Work Environment

• Exposure to loud noise, heat, and moving equipment
• May involve shift work, weekends, or emergency call-ins
• Physically demanding work in manufacturing environments
• Requires climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
• Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements
