Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, project management, or a related field

Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects

License/Certification

• Additionally, a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required for this role.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of each project and the overall reputation of Journey Group in the construction industry.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Manage risks and implement sound project management practices
• Play a crucial role in meticulously planning all phases of building construction projects.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and structural drawings is essential
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.

Work Environment

• Collaborates with teams and stakeholders
• Manages tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• May work extended hours to meet project goals
• Requires frequent travel between job locations
• Works in the office and on construction sites
