Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder who will weld a wide variety of metal and steel structures from oral directions, sketches, or drawings.

Additional responsibilities include QC Checks, some supervision, and training of Team Members.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

• Welding experience (Arc, Tig, Mig) – required

License/Certification

• Certified Welders (preferred, but not required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to accurately and effectively load shipments for delivery
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and complete standard records
• Completes all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork
• Ensures the manager is aware of any issues that can impact customer satisfaction or billing
• Follows all company and common-sense safety policies while using all required personal protective equipment
• Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas
• Participates in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs
• Welds a wide variety of metal and steel structures

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops (forklifts, gradall, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
• Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

• Exposed to high heat, bright light, and fumes
• Must follow strict safety and ventilation guidelines
• Often involves standing, bending, or working in cramped spaces
• Requires wearing protective gear like helmets and gloves
• Works indoors or outdoors in workshops, factories, or construction sites
