Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Welder Fabricator who will weld and fabricate a wide variety of metal and steel structures from oral directions, sketches, or drawings.

Must be able to inspect your finished welds to meet company standards.

Additional responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

  • Welding experience (Arc, Tig, Mig) – required

License/Certification

  • Certified Welders (preferred, but not required)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Accurately and effectively load shipments for delivery
  • Completes all reports and forms for service operations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork
  • Ensures the manager is aware of any issues that can impact customer satisfaction or billing
  • Fabricate and weld a wide variety of metal and steel structures
  • Follows all company and common-sense safety policies while using all required personal protective equipment
  • Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas
  • Participates in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs
  • Read fabrication drawings, work orders, and complete standard records

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops (fork-lifts, grad-all, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
  • Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

  • Exposed to heat, sparks, noise, and metal fumes
  • Involves standing, lifting, and precise manual work
  • Must wear safety gear and follow safety protocols closely
  • Requires the use of heavy tools and welding equipment
  • Works in fabrication shops, factories, or construction sites
