The company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools
• Experience with programming languages G-Code, Mazatrol, and Gibbs Cam

License/Certification

• Technical Certificate from a College or Trade School, such as a Journeyman Certification in a machine-related field

Duties/Responsibilities

• Investigates quality problems relative to machining and provides technical direction to implement corrective action on defective tooling or improper manufacturing methods
• Prepares and operates CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Programs and sets up CNC machines using long-hand G-Code, Mazatrol, Gibbs Cam, and other software
• Provides programming support on production jobs
• Understands specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Knowledge of various measuring instruments and the ability to read blueprints.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
• Must possess a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of LaGrange, NC (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
• Requires use of information or access to hardware that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). US persons must make all applications within the meaning of ITAR.
