The company is hiring an Associate Machine Operator who will be responsible for setting up machines, performing machining and fabrication tasks, and creating test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for various tests.

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
  • 1+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience using basic math (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong attention to detail

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
  • Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products
  • Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
  • Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks
  • Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks
  • Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests
  • Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements

Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
