Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Production Supervisor who will perform the daily operations of the plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.

Focus on the execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures.

Some judgment may be required, but this is typically with guidance.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees) + Minimum of 3 years of (oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees)

Work Experience

  • Experience using Oracle in a production environment
  • Prior experience driving continuous improvement using LEAN
  • Prior experience in welding and fabrication production
  • Prior experience using Flight Deck

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with cross-functional team members across the site as well as adjacent shifts.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • Drives continuous improvements through the use of the Flight Deck.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish their work. In-depth understanding of how the work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • Leads daily management efforts to ensure the team is meeting business priorities.
  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees. Managing hourly employee populations.
  • Proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members.
  • Uses some level of judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters, but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of their team to arrive at decisions.
