The company is searching for a CNC Technician to join its Ti-Cast Operation.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of working in a manufacturing environment with hands-on CNC experience with CNC set-up and machining.
  • Experience with NX, Solid Works, Mastercam programming language/software, CAD systems, and Mazak, Haas, Fadal, Hurco CNC machines (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create new CNC programs
  • Design fixturing/select tooling for new castings
  • Maintain the CNC program directory.
  • Provide 1st shift manufacturing support and problem-solving for CNC production issues.
  • Spearhead cycle time and tooling cost reduction efforts
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • A strong desire to push the limits of traditional 5-axis CNC machining and in-process probing.
  • Basic working knowledge of CNC programming using CAD/CAM or manual G-codes.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills
  • PC literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Renishaw Probe programming
  • Strong problem-solving acumen

  • Exposed to noise, sharp tools, and metal debris
  • Handles precision tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Stands for extended periods and operates heavy machinery
  • Wears protective equipment like gloves and safety glasses
  • Works in manufacturing or machine shop environments
