Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards
• Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections/audits and engaging in problem-solving activities to resolve issues of concern
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S, PPE, LOTO)
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques
• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Be able to recognize material by shape and color
• Capable of using computerized equipment
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape
• Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within the line/complex
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of the entire shift
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions
