The company is searching for a Welder who will work with quality and innovative metal building solutions.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Work Experience

• Welder I (1-3 years of welding experience)
• The ability to obtain a Welding certificate within the initial 90 days of employment is required.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a daily inspection log and daily piece counts.
• Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements.
• Operate machinery and tools efficiently and safely.
• Perform fabrication work, including grinding, chipping, and finishing.
• Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• A combination of education and experience may qualify.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and an overhead crane.
• Must be able to safely flip an I-beam.

• High heat and sparks exposure
• Loud, noisy environments
• Often physically demanding
• Requires protective gear
• Risk of fumes and burns
