Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Operator who will perform spot inspections of parts and adjust the speed and material flow to ensure top quality and meet our customer specifications.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

• Prior experience running CNC machines or heavy machinery (required)
• Prior experience with reading drawings, selecting proper tooling, and holding parts to within close tolerances (essential)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Use both hands to control equipment and materials used in the production process.
• Ensure the material, quantities, and description of materials are correct before starting jobs.
• Look for ways to improve/optimize efficiency on programs to improve delivery dates.
• Maintain the machine area clean.
• Maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maximize tooling utilization on projects.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of your shift and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Update and inform the Supervisor/Lead of any issues or problems the operator sees when working on projects.
• Work and train with other operators on how to program and run the machines.
• Work on daily scheduled jobs given by the Supervisor/Lead for the week.
