The company is looking for a Welder to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Work Experience
- Requires 1-4 years of related experience or may have 0 years of experience plus an associate degree, or additional training, or certification
- Expert in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
Duties/Responsibilities
- Be familiar with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
- Complete an apprenticeship or formal training in the area of specialty.
- Fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.
- Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process with assistance from supervision.
- Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Precise weld inspection and quality control
- Safe operation of welding tools and equipment
- Skilled in reading blueprints
- Strong metal cutting and fitting abilities
Work Environment
- Able to lift 35 lbs. consistently
- Ability to work 10 hours or more per day and weekends as required
