The company is looking for a Welder to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Work Experience

  • Requires 1-4 years of related experience or may have 0 years of experience plus an associate degree, or additional training, or certification
  • Expert in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Be familiar with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
  • Complete an apprenticeship or formal training in the area of specialty.
  • Fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.
  • Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
  • Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process with assistance from supervision.
  • Must follow PCX safety guidelines and requirements

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Precise weld inspection and quality control
  • Safe operation of welding tools and equipment
  • Skilled in reading blueprints
  • Strong metal cutting and fitting abilities

Work Environment

  • Able to lift 35 lbs. consistently
  • Ability to work 10 hours or more per day and weekends as required
