Job Profile
The company is seeking a Controls Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving highly automated controls, robotic, and welding systems.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (required)
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix, Guard Logix, PanelView plus platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and program PLC, HMI, robots, and other types of electronic or electrical manufacturing equipment.
- Continuous improvement activities include cycle time reduction, standardization of existing equipment, and the incorporation of error-proofing strategies.
- Lead in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment.
- Able to program Panel View (HMI) and PLC.
- Install hardware and wiring
- Program and debug automated robotic welding, sealing, fastening, and assembly systems.
- Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.
- Work collaboratively with different team members and different levels of the organization (internal and external)
- Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on the issue to find a resolution, and monitoring progress.

- Able to manage project details to ensure perfect quality in work output.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to utilize computer-aided modeling to ensure that the workout meets the needs of the customer (internal and external)
- Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes.
- Knowledge to perform all aspects of the job; rotates through all job responsibilities. Maintains knowledge and skills to perform job effectively.
- Work when scheduled and ensures coverage when absent; takes timely breaks/lunches; uses time wisely.
