Job Profile

The company is seeking a Controls Engineer who will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving highly automated controls, robotic, and welding systems.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field (required)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Rockwell software and AB CompactLogix, Guard Logix, PanelView plus platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC, HMI, robots, and other types of electronic or electrical manufacturing equipment.
• Continuous improvement activities include cycle time reduction, standardization of existing equipment, and the incorporation of error-proofing strategies.
• Lead in the troubleshooting of malfunctioning equipment.
• Able to program Panel View (HMI) and PLC.
• Install hardware and wiring
• Program and debug automated robotic welding, sealing, fastening, and assembly systems.
• Uses feedback from others to continuously improve performance and work relationships.
• Work collaboratively with different team members and different levels of the organization (internal and external)
• Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on the issue to find a resolution, and monitoring progress.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to utilize computer-aided modeling to ensure that the workout meets the needs of the customer (internal and external)

• Knowledge to perform all aspects of the job; rotates through all job responsibilities. Maintains knowledge and skills to perform job effectively.
