The company is searching for a CNC Operator to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent, some College or Technical School (preferred)

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a CNC Programmer or Machinist/Operator
• Tool and Die experience or training (strongly preferred)
• Mastercam Programming (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calculate, record, and enter into the control the appropriate offsets for each tool.
• Inspect, verify, and replace as needed tooling utilized in the CNC work center.
• Maintain the appropriate maintenance records in Plexus.
• Operate a CNC machine to produce parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineering drawing. (Challenge Mfg. offers newer and well-kept CNC equipment in a climate-controlled environment. Equipment includes Haas CNC Mills and Mitsubishi Wire EDM)
• Perform general (i.e., routine) maintenance of the equipment, fluid levels, and lubrication points
• Responsible for Computer Numerically Controlled machines (i.e., generating, editing, troubleshooting, and verifying CNC Programs) utilizing CNC technology by means of programming, setup, and operating a CNC machine.
