The company is searching for a Production Operator to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma (credible)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Work Experience

  • 3 years of consistent, verifiable, and related work experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Cleans machines.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and turns completed paperwork into the team leader
  • Completes tags to track the flow of product and identify operators performing work on the product.
  • Conducts housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
  • Ensures materials needed are present and requests or retrieves needed material when necessary.
  • Inspects parts for conformance to specifications and contacts a team leader or quality inspector to discuss non-conformances.
  • Observes and complies with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements associated with this job description.
  • Packs parts in specified relationships to each other.
  • Participates in needs analysis and attends and performs the requirements of scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position.
  • Participates in preventative actions where appropriate. Conducts corrective actions and performs problem-solving analysis and reporting as required.
  • Participates, as requested, in independent objective auditing activities and supports the company’s continuous improvement activities.
  • Positions parts against fixtures or stops on the machine bed or on the die.
  • Sets up and operates resistance spot welders or power presses to weld, trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal, composite, or plastic stock by performing the following duties.
  • Starts the welding cell and observes the operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
  • Stops work on processes as appropriate and contains suspect or defective material or services to avoid further processing.
  • Understands and can explain the company’s Quality Policy.
  • Understands and explains all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions associated with this job description.
  • Understands Quality Management System and implementation of non-conformances, and documents or logs all non-conformities
  • Explain how this position impacts customer satisfaction and contributes to fulfilling the Quality Policy.
  • Understands the overview of the Quality Management System and document architecture.
  • Works at different work stations as production needs require.
