Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welder who will contribute to the essential infrastructure, including drainage systems, pipes, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • Technical training or welding experience (strongly preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adheres to safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
  • Aligns and assembles product for welding using crane, lever hoist, chains, etc.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures to ensure accurate welding.
  • Uses a cutting or plasma torch to burn to the precision layout.
  • Uses template, pattern, scribe, etc. to mark and lay out material.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to work with precision instruments.
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG and Stick welding.

Work Environment

  • Exposed to sparks and fumes
  • May work indoors or outdoors
  • Stands or crouches for long hours
  • Wears protective gear daily
  • Works in hot, noisy environments
