Job Profile

The company is hiring a Maintenance Welder who will be a critical part of the production team, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are performing at top-notch.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Proven experience as a welder
• Understanding of Gas metal arc welding (MIG welding)
• Understanding of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (STICK WELDING)
• Understanding of stick and MIG welder controls and capability to troubleshoot problems and correct them

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to source materials to be used in an assigned project.
• Maintain min/max quantities for steel and welding supplies.
• Measuring and cutting of materials to specifications.
• Must be able to create, design, and fabricate jigs, holding fixtures, and guides.
• Must be able to identify and use all common types of shop tools. (Reciprocating saws, band saws, grinders).
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical information.
• Must have various welding skills and knowledge of metals, welding wire, gases, plasma cutter, and torches.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Aptitude/working knowledge of maintenance.
• Attend training classes specific to job requirements as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor or management.
• Computer literate.
• General knowledge of each production process.
• Good math, written, and verbal skills.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Must have two motor licenses (will train).
• Problem-solving skills.
• Training as prescribed by the corporate training procedure.
