Job Profile

The company is seeking a Pipeliner (pipe welder) who will perform work tasks independently and often support Mechanics, I&E Techs, and Projects on crude oil and natural gas pipeline systems.

Take work direction from Supervisor or Planner/Scheduler, completing compliance-based tasks while being responsible for critical documentation.

The position will require Hazwoper training and will be supporting emergency response situations as needed.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 1 year of oilfield experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adding lube oil to shipping pumps
• Assist in meter proving/witnessing
• Drain down/blow down pipelines and stations
• Excavation oversite
• Flange bolt-ups/blind removals
• IHE creation and implementation
• Natural gas particulate filter changes
• Perform pigging for maintenance on the refined product, crude oil, and natural gas pipelines
• Pipeline locating and marking
• Right of Way patrols, clean up and line marker maintenance
• This position requires driving on a routine basis and is subject to callouts
• Valve inspections and maintenance
• Weekly ORD inspections

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to work weekends, nights, holidays, overtime, and short notice shift coverage as needed
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and SAP PM)
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Candidates must demonstrate a personal commitment to Incident and Injury Free Operations with a proven track record in Safety and Reliability
