Job Profile

The company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its team

Educational Qualification

Applicants should be a High School Graduate or Equivalent with a 5+ year of machining background

Work Experience

Experience in Solid Works and Solid CAM (preferred)
Experience building custom jigs and fixtures

Duties/Responsibilities

Ability to create CNC programs within Solid CAM
Ability to run/operate a HAAS CNC vertical mill with 4th axis
May set up machines for and instruct/train other operators how to run
Operations include milling, drilling, threading, turning, boring, recessing, profile or contouring, etc. to the capacity of the machine
Perform PM on machines as needed and keep a clean work area
Select/recommend tooling to maximize machine efficiency for a variety of materials
Set up and other tasks may include the use of a manual mill and lathe along with other shop tools or equipment
Work with other team members to finish builds on time

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Able to provide instruction on basic CNC programming to other team members
Broad knowledge of machining technology, mechanical principals, advanced shop mathematics, layout and precision measuring, setup and operating methods, tooling types, and fixturing
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Must be able to read blueprints
