Job Profile
The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician who will perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and Mechanical/electronic repair to maintain equipment.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
- Training/certification in machine-specific and electronics fields
- Certified in various types of welding (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair/diagnosis
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical component repair/diagnosis
Duties/Responsibilities
- Builds custom parts on demand
- Maintain clean work area
- Perform Lockout/Tagout Procedure
- Perform/Maintain preventative maintenance program on equipment
- Performs various types of welding as needed
- Programs computers and PLCs
- Support production as needed to maintain proper output
- Troubleshoots and repairs electronic components
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical components
- Troubleshoots, motors, pumps, compressors, and any other systems in the plant
- Works on call as required
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Must be able to maintain good attendance
- Must be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to work on-call as needed
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods
- Must have acute troubleshooting skills
