Job Profile

The company is searching for a Tool Crib Attendant who will use tool crib skills to maintain the tool crib and ensure the proper and timely disbursement of tools, fixtures, and materials.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follows and supports the 6S program by maintaining a clean work area and observing all Lytron safety rules.
• Inform the QC Department if they learn of measuring devices that need calibration.
• Maintains accurate records of tools and fixtures. Maintains accurate inventory records and paperwork. Will use a computer to maintain accurate records.
• Maintains stocking levels of a variety of tools, materials, and components to be used by production departments.
• Maintains tool crib in an organized manner that facilitates fast and efficient kitting and issuing of tools.
• May perform work in other factory work cells or work areas as assigned and performs other related duties as directed.
• Receives and issues, tools, dies, fixtures, measuring devices, materials, and components following prescribed procedures.
• Will perform simple tool tasks, Taps, Drills, and End Mills to assist the machinist in preparing jobs for machining.
• Works from pick lists, setup sheets, and written and verbal instructions.
