Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Hand Welder with Stainless Tig to join its team for manufacturing needs.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Journeyperson Welder Certification
• Carbon and SS Tig Welding certifications

Work Experience

• B-Pressure ticket
• CWB ticket an asset
• Valid WHMIS ticket

Duties/Responsibilities

• Fuse metals safely and effectively using prescribed welding applications.
• May operate metal shaping machines, such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines.
• Perform tasks in accordance with industry quality and production standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Recognize defective welds, know the cause, and repair procedure for the defective area.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Are adaptable and can work in a team environment
• Have safety as a top priority
• Required to manage heavy materials and stand for extended periods

Benefits/Perks

• Benefits after 300 hours worked
• Monday – Thursday schedule with 10-hour shifts
• The employee rate is $50.29, and the DSP rate is $61.10
