Work Experience

• Possess previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or related fields (preferred)
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel assemblies
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before welding using straight edges, combination squares, tape measures, and other tools
• Maintains a clean and safe workstation
• Maintains and wears all required personal protective safety equipment

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand while performing assigned duties

• Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
