Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Production Associate (Band Line) who will perform multiple functions within the department to ensure the safe and efficient production of bands.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Monitor, log or record the process
• Assist in changeovers
• Record coil information, and steel lengths and verify band stamp
• Operate industrial-powered equipment
• Cross-train other employees as required
• Will be required to become certified to drive industrial powered equipment (example: fork truck)
• Moderate to heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs. with assist)
• Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking
• Lifts supplies/equipment
• Pushes/pulls or moves/lifts heavy equipment/supplies
• Operate multiple or all of the following positions-
  -Uncoiler, Shear, Burr Cutter, Butt Welder: weld band ends together on the welder
  -Rim Roll, Upsetter, Inspector: inspect and measure bands, load position bands in fluxer, inspect bands when flux process is complete
  -Stacker: stack completed bands to proper pallets, operate an overhead crane to load and unload coiled from truck to storage and machine, TRS, make adjustments to the robot as needed

• Near Acuity: ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less
• Depth Perception: the ability to judge distance and space relationships
• Field of Vision: ability to see peripherally
• Accommodation: ability to adjust vision to bring objects into focus
• Temperature Changes: variations in temperature from hot to cold
