Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder to join its team for production activities.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited School

Work Experience

• Must pass the Hendrickson weld test (2G) or equivalent

Duties/Responsibilities

• Accurately report daily activities on work orders, schedules, and other media as required.
• Conduct required quality checks using basic measuring equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and exercise safe working habits while operating the machines.
• Keep machine and work area clean and free of safety hazards.
• Loads and operates fixtures as required. Pieces weigh up to 20 lbs. Make running adjustments as needed.
• Operate other material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, etc.
• Perform machine-to-machine material handling as necessary within a cell.
• Perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment as scheduled.
• Weld and turn the beam in a fixture. Beam’s weight is up to 100 lbs. when completed. (Hoist and conveyor line used to move completed beams.) Lift and install piece parts, which weigh up to 20 lbs. The process is repeated up to 50 times per day.
• The duties as assigned by Team Leader or Group Facilitator.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Must be familiar with blueprints
• Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug-free throughout the term of employment
