The company is seeking a Welder to join its team for manufacturing needs.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and Technical School

Work Experience

• Must have 1 to 5 years of experience

Other Qualifications

• Ability to set up and utilize inspection equipment, ability to write in a clear and concise manner, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, and ability to communicate welding issues to Supervisors and Welders
• Must have expert knowledge of Weld Symbols and Weld Positions used in production
• Must be able to read and understand detailed drawings and welding procedures/specifications
• Must have experience using the standard measuring tool, understanding of Print tolerances

Duties/Responsibilities

• Capable of passing certification in GMAW, and FCAW in all welding positions
• Capable of reading blueprints and engineered drawings
• Familiarity with AWS common welding symbols to include welding to specified sizes in grooves and fillets
• Consistently capable of meeting weld quality standards that would apply to an OEM manufacturing
• Always maintains good housekeeping and safe working habits
• Grinding and finish work capable of final paint quality finish
• Additional desired qualifications in fabrication
• Layout capability of complex components to hold greater than 1/16th accuracy
• Using a tape measure, level, square

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must have basic computer knowledge (Access and Excel)
• Ability to effectively plan and organize and have the ability to communicate with others
