Job Profile

The company is searching for an Advanced Manufacturing Technician (Air Management) who will perform daily laboratory tasks to complete engineering projects and limited production assignments.

Focus on developing and improving manufacturing processes with Air Management and manufacturing of a new state-of-the-art polymer-based heat exchanger.

Effectively communicate with peers and internal engineering customers in order to take proper actions for success.

Assemble, analyze, and troubleshoot various Liquid Desiccant components throughout the manufacturing processes.

Also, be involved in Safety+5S, and other improvement practices.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree in a related field (college/university) plus 3 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

• Possess work-related experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and document assembly or test results
• Adhere to all corporate and laboratory safety standards and policies, including all EPA regulations
• Assemble prototype or development-type components with hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and custom equipment.
• Communicate technical information related to project statuses to other team members
• Comply with ISO Standards
• Demonstrate conscientious and ambitious behavior.
• Fabricate supporting assembly or test fixtures
• Follow laboratory assembly or test instructions
• Maintain and upkeep assembly equipment, workspaces, and lab areas.
• Meet the physical demands of the role which include manipulation of average to heavy weights (weight range up to 50 lbs.), standing for extended periods of time, use of hand tools, welding, cutting, and brazing equipment
• Operate laboratory test equipment including but not limited to presses, welders, test stands, material handling equipment, and electrical or mechanical measuring devices.
• Travel may be required – 10%
• Work in a team environment and individually.
• Work with verbatim compliance with refrigerant handling procedures if assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field plus 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education/experience
• 5 plus years of experience preferred in a manufacturing or lab facility
• Experience as a technician in Mechanical/Electrical applications
• Experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical production equipment
• Experience with Polymer Manufacturing
• Manufacturing related experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Excellent Excel skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship for this role will not be provided)
• Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical/electrical aptitude
• Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
• Proficient Microsoft Office user
