Job Profile

The company is seeking a Frac Welder who will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation within the welding and fabrication department.

Coordinate and execute projects in the welding shop and respond to welding needs in the field.

Educational Qualification

  • No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

  • Possess 1+ years of welding and fabrication experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe work practices.
  • Ensure that all welding meets specified requirements before inspection is initiated.
  • Ensuring that all activities adhere to Company policies and procedures;
  • Ensuring that all company activities are completed with a focus on quality service and the safety of all stakeholders.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and schematics to determine appropriate welding and fabrication processes and needs.
  • Measure, mark, cut bore, fit or install various piping/structural components consistent with blueprints and job specifications.
  • Meeting goals and expectations set forth by management.
  • Multiple welding and Fabrication projects.
  • Participate in training programs to ensure that company goals, values, and expectations are being communicated properly.
  • Participates in safety meetings as needed.
  • Reporting on completed work and projects.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate welding equipment to job specifications and welding procedures.
  • Some travel to the field and other facilities.
  • Suggesting improvements to a company policy where necessary to ensure continued safe operations.
  • Track inventory and communicate inventory needs.
  • Weld various piping and structural components, including pipes, flanges, fittings, valves, piping supports, structural plates, and beams.
  • Work hand in hand with all 3rd party vendors to resolve issues in a timely and safe manner with the company’s best interest at hand.
  • All other duties and responsibilities which from time to time may become, or are at any time, necessary for the safe, quality-focused operation of the business.

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.

  • Ability to visualize how a tool is functioning
  • Ability to weld with Mig, Tig, and Stick
