Job Profile
The company is seeking an Assembler II (Refrigeration) who will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components of refrigeration systems for environmental test equipment according to blueprints or schematic drawings, and know of refrigeration systems.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Adjust valves according to specifications
- Cut, bend, and braze specified tubing to inlets and outlets of components to form liquid and suction lines of refrigeration systems
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
- Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
- May assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits, controls, and recording devices
- Mount compressor, condenser, or other components in specified locations on frame, using hand tools and welding equipment
- Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing situations
- Performs any assembly-type function, using hand or power tools
- Read and comprehend blueprints or schematic drawings to determine location, size, capacity, and type of components, such as compressors, condensers, expansion valves, and tubing or piping needed to build equipment
- Read rulers, tape measurers, metal squares, and other measuring instruments
- Remove air from the system and charge the system with the specified amount and type of refrigerant
- Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on an individual’s product line or work cell
- Utilize appropriate information given on material gauging and dimensioning
- Work at different workstations as production needs require
- Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment
- Constantly foot use, visual acuity (near/far), and lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently standing, walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, gripping, pinching, neck rotation/extension, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping/twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. alone, up to 100 lbs. assisted
