Job Profile
The company is seeking a Bridge Welding Team Lead who will direct and guide a Bridge Welding crew.
The position is suitable for an experienced welder looking to set an example.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree (college/university) or equivalent work experience (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of welding experience (preferred)
- 1 year of bridge fabrication experience (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Actively work in your designated area (i.e., production floor, material handling)
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Consult with Shop Supervisor and approve PTO for designated employees
- Direct and lead daily activities on the shop floor for a specified area
- Directly supervise designated employees
- Mentor and train new and existing employees to be safe and productive
- Oversee quality and safety in the area
- Perform/assist with employee engagement meetings/annual performance reviews for areas of responsibility
- Promote the company’s core values
- Prompt and dependable attendance
- Train and assist employees on Shop-Trak
- Verify employees accurately clock in/out of jobs and time is correct in Shop-Trak
- Verify employees have accurately clocked in/out on time and attendance
- Other duties as assigned
