Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Grinder who will set up and operate CNC grinding equipment in a skillful and efficient manner.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Vocational School with hands-on training at school or in a machine shop.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of machining experience
• Experience with tolerances of +/- .00015 and knowledge of surface finish and methods of inspecting them. The operator should be proficient in indicating.
• It is desirable to have some training in the use and understanding of metric to imperial inch conversion

Duties/Responsibilities

• Analyze and debug new methods.
• Check and maintain oil and coolant levels daily
• Diligently perform all duties in a highly productive manner.
• Must be educated and trained to read prints and interpret engineering instructions required to produce parts consistently to close tolerances.
• Perform calculations and use inspection equipment to verify that all quality requirements are met.
• Understand and follow the safety rules, including keeping a neat and clean work area.

• Ability to perform within tight tolerances and work within already established parameters.
• Team Player and good attitude

Work Environment

• Exposure to metal dust and coolant
• Noisy environment with constant machine operation
• Requires standing for long periods
